Learning IP is good and important, but learning IP as it applies to the digital age is even better. Copyrights, patents, and trademarks are constantly being fought over to the point where it can feel like anything can be owned. Even something as ordinary as having the word “drop” in your company name or designing a shoe made using specific materials may be patented with argument.
